Watch this space...
So seeing as I finished a degree at university in fashion design, I thought that I might as well put my talents to use and start making bandeau bras for people to buy, all ready for a summers day or night out. I will also be making them as undergarments and knickers to match.
Each piece will be custom made to fit whoever wants to purchase and all will be made to order.
Prices will vary between £9 and £35.
SO WATCH THIS SPACE! Because samples will be up very soon and the new blog 'Cee Cee' will be the home of all the making and selling details of each item!

Inspiration.
Such an inspirational photographer, Jon Duenas series of photographs showing double exposure have really made me want to go out and just take photos. They are a mix between fashion and ordinary life mixing faces with natural elements.
More from this series here
Vintage.
At the moment I am totally skint, and there are so many items that are screaming at me to buy! Having an addiction to vintage online stores is lethal and today is no exception. Shoptarte.com and pretaportabello.com have some amazing finds. I'm always too late with Shoptarte because everything is ALWAYS sold out before I get a chance to see them. Maybe I should become one of these people who just sits by the computer waiting...
Here are a few items I am currently craving at shoptarte.com...
And at pretaportobello.com...
oh what I would do to win the lottery!

Collaboration
Here are a few images from a collaboration with Graduate fashion designer Jessica Roles (BA Hons Fashion Design - University of Glamorgan). This was a photo-shoot that I was approached to do for her after she saw my final images for the graduate submission. It was a very proud time as three other student designers also came forward wanting me to photograph their work in a studio setting. This shoot was a nice change as menswear is an area that hasn't been easy to practice.

Summer Colours
After reading fashion156.com's summer issue online, the colours for SS/12 really stood out. The images are absolutely stunning and are well worth looking at if you are a true fashion lover.
Beautiful photography really captured the colours and have a very summery effect. We all think about water and colour in the summer and these images really emphasise these elements.
These images were taken from Fashion156.com @ http://www.fashion156.com/issues/summer-issue/beauty/colour-beauty-editorial/#0
So Much Fashion, So Little Money...
The only problem with fashion is there will always be something you love/need/want in your life. There are so many items in stores right now that scream 'buy me' but so little money to walk in and buy. If only everyone could win the lottery, life would be so much simpler. Until that day comes, working is the only way forward. Will just have to count pennies for a few months.
There is also the summer down-fall of needing to lose weight to get the bikini body everyone longs for. I happen to be one of the millions of people who fall into the loop of needing to diet and exercise to feel even remotely happy to step outside in short sleeves during the warm months and this year is no exception although I am highly determined that this year will be my year. Hopefully in the next few months I will not only be updating pictures of fashion finds but hopefully will eventually have myself in the picture wearing them.
As this is aiming to become a photo diary it makes encourages me to take more pictures and stop caring so much about little things, and will use this to show photo-shoots that are being worked on and are in progress, fashion that inspires me and all other things that are relevant day to day.
Officially finished university.
This post is a long time coming but I have officially finished my undergraduate degree at university of Glamorgan in fashion design. It has been a stressful three years but it's finally over and can now concentrate on better things. The final photo shoots turned out really well and the model was a trooper. She participated in every shoot and really played the part in each starring role. Here shows behind the scenes images of make up and prep.

So I always get e-mails that someone new is following me on pinterest and when I logged onto it today I felt really popular. However using the site I found really tricky. Have no idea what to do on it or how people find the pictures they 'pin'. So confusing.

I have a few boards that I did the first time I logged on but I was using it for a competition so was basically directed around the site. As that was a few months ago I am not stuck on my main page with nothing to do! HELP!

Cardiff Street Style - Saturday March 3rd 2012
Absolutely loved this lady, thought she looked so chic walking down Queen Street with her Zara bag in hand. This was such an amazing experience and something I will continue doing! More street style up in the next few days!

LOVE
Another fashion mag that is religiously bought by me. This issue was very inspiring to me while researching into photo shoots for my final major project. It is something that I am very focused on at the moment and as I want this shoot to look amazing, I am taking inspiration from famous professional photographers to see what I could come up with.
These images inspire me with the model poses and the lighting on the models. The black and white effect is also something that I absolutely love, and would consider doing for some of the photographs.
This shoot then was by Mario Testino, one of my all time favourite fashion photographers. His work has inspired me from the start of my fashion career. I have used this shot of Rosie Huntington-Whitely as an inspiration source, again because of her pose. I want my model to have some sort of attitude to show off the clothing. This issue was a much more inspiring journey and I feel like I have come up with some interesting ideas which I hope to explore more in the studio next week.
Wonderland
I do have a huge love for Wonderland magazine and am one of those people who religiously buys it as soon as it hits the shelves. There wasn't much in this issue however that captured my attention. As I am not a huge fan of Nicki Minaj anyway, that made me question the front cover, but didn't let it stop me.
Comme De Garcons menswear collection is the part that I liked the most and their styling. On top of the model's heads they had cushion crowns, hitting my childish side, I found these so cute that I need to share!
London Day 2
Back to the outside of Somerset House, Sunday 19th February.
Today was my day to leave London, so I headed off back to Somerset House to see if I could see any more fashion on the outside. This was also the first time I had actually gone into London completely alone! It was quite worrying thinking about train stops, and whether I was going to miss where I had to get off. I made it though and got myself back to Somerset House.
When I got there, there wasn't that much going on so I feel like I was a little too late. I got myself some street style, but they asked for my card, and sadly I hadn't had any made, so I only took the two street style shots, and got myself a shot of some Viktor & Rolf shoes which were beautiful.
This was a major learning curve for me, and I met so many people which really set up my confidence to go back and do it all over again. I met PR agents, a creative director, the owner of a blog which may get me some photography work when I finish at uni and a film maker. These are all such valuable contacts for my future, and am so grateful for the experience, even if I didn't do that much behind the scenes of the screening.
This was taken outside Somerset House, I loved what she was wearing and approached her for a photo. If I had my cards done I would definitely have gone into more detail about who she was etc. It was nice to just get out there and ask people if I could photograph them and people were so nice about it. It was something I was quite worried about before, but feel a lot more confident about it now.
The lady wearing these shoes did look amazing. She had bright pink hair and a blue blazer, but these shoes definitely stood out to me. As I was walking down the street away from Somerset House I noticed them and just had to get a picture of them. She was another who was so lovely about it. This is definitely something I love. The shoes are from Viktor & Rolf.
A very successful weekend in London which has also given me a lot more confidence and contacts to continue on with my photography project.
Nice long bus journey for me then back to Cardiff. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and being alone wasn't too bad either. Heard from my other half who is in New York at the moment and was a nice time to hear from him as it was his birthday!

London Day 1
Day one of Fashion week, Saturday 18th February.
Crazy experience! A group of us interns got up to London saturday to help designer Jayne Pierson with her fashion week screening at Somerset House. First off, we headed to the PR Studio in Shoreditch, where we met with PR company Bloody Gray. This was to be the model fitting and getting everything ready to head over to Somerset House. I couldn't take photos inside the venue for the fitting or at Somerset House because sadly I only had an exhibition pass and not a press pass. After heading over to Somerset House we were surrounded by fashion as soon as we hit the pavement.
We were not very busy with the screening so set off around the exhibition. I saw celebrities such as Millie Mackintosh and Amber Atherton from Made in Chelsea, Susie Lau, Jameela Jamil and Jay from Dirty Sexy Things. Was such a shame not to have my camera with me because these would have been amazing to capture.
I did manage to get a picture of the Sister by Sibling exhibition in the Newgen exhibition. It is not the best photo as it was taken on my iPhone very quickly.
I thought the collection was beautiful. The colours really stood out from the crowd in this room, and caught the eye as I was walking past. It is a shame this was the only collection I could get a photo of but didn't want to push my luck. I am aiming to get a press pass for September's fashion week and hopefully I will really be able to get the whole feel of what Fashion Week is like when you have a real purpose of being there.
